Lone Star Lake welcomes you with its air of peace and tranquility any time! Let’s head over there right now to learn and master the game basics of fishing!

Perfect TimeLevel 1

Fish activity usually depends on the weather and time of the day. Study the Weather Forecast and bite charts, and learn to use the Fast-Forward Time function to ensure the best possible fishing conditions. The higher the curve chart, the more active fish will be at that time.

Catch RedearLevel 1

Different lures attract fish in different ways. Try using Crickets to catch a Redear Sunfish - it has a particular taste for insect baits. These fish go out to feed closer to shore, near the lily pads. You will need a Keepnet to keep your catch and sell it at the end of the day.

First FiveLevel 1

Time to check how well you mastered these new skills. Go and catch 5 fish of any kind in the spots you already know. The reward you’ll get at the end of the day for the fish you catch will provide you with more resources for future travel and a new tackle.

New GearLevel 3

As you progress, new tackle and fishing locations will become available. Time to try something new, like spinning tackle. Using a spinning rod is a sure way to catch a large predator.

Assemble Spinning SetupLevel 3

When you make a purchase, the item automatically goes to your Backpack, as long as there’s enough space. If your Backpack is full, the purchased item will go to your Home Storage. Try moving the items from your Home Storage to your Backpack and learn to equip tackle in the correct order.

To Mudwater!Level 4

Mudwater River is the next destination on our list. This place is perfect for beginner anglers. Keep in mind that the trip and the stay will both cost you some money, but it’s worth it, as there is considerably more fish to catch.

Spinning CastLevel 4

When fishing with a spinning rod, your casting technique is very important. Follow the instructions and you’ll quickly learn to aim and make accurate casts.

Straight RetrieveLevel 4

Retrieve technique is the next step to landing your Trophy. Master the Straight retrieve and you’ll see that fish will be motivated to attack your lure. The better your technique, the more predators you will attract, since your lure will imitate small fish movement.

Buoy Marks the SpotLevel 4

The map on your Tablet will help you better navigate the waterway you are currently at. Also, after a successful catch you can pin the lucky spot using a Marker buoy, to know where to cast next time without hesitation.

New Lure, New PossibilitiesLevel 4

Try experimenting with different lures, explore various areas of the waterway and you’ll see your Keepnet fill up with heavy fish in no time! To cover the travel and stay costs, you need to catch a lot of fish and sell it at the end of the day, before leaving the waterway.

New RetrieveLevel 4

Time to learn the Stop&Go retrieve. It imitates the movement of a small fish through the water current and drives predators crazy. Read the Hints that will appear as you practice mastering this new retrieve. Head over to the Mudwater River for a few days and catch some fish using this retrieve!

CatfishLevel 4

Mudwater River is known for its wide range of fish species. Catfish are large bottom-dwelling creatures that have a taste for smelly baits. Use a bigger hook with Petfood as bait, and head over to the Catfish Heaven location. There, in an underwater hole near the shore, you’ll find these whiskery monsters. But you’ll have to increase the leader length to get them.

Tough SetupLevel 4

Going after bigger fish requires sturdier tackle. You can get some new powerful fishing tools in Mudwater’s local shop, without leaving the waterway. But keep in mind, that the tackle selection in local shops is always limited, and prices are a bit higher than in the Global Map’s game store.

To the New HorizonsLevel 5

Congrats! Now you have access to a new waterway and new tackle! Go on, fill up your Keepnet with fish to cover all your travel expenses, and then head back home. A new unexplored waterway and many fishing adventures await!

Update Your GearLevel 5

Before travelling to a new fishing destination, you should get all the necessary tackle and equipment. Your spinning rod is still great, but the reel is definitely worth upgrading. Time to learn how to assemble your own spinning lure, using a Shad and a Jig Head. This type of lure is perfect for catching fierce predatory fish.

To Emerald!Level 8

Emerald Lake is heartwarming and always welcomes the weary traveller. Head over there for a few days to explore this waterway’s marvelous possibilities. Catch some trophy Pike, conquer the ferocious Walleye at nighttime and explore the the lake’s aquatic splendour on a Kayak! But to do all of this, you’ll have to get an Advanced fishing License.

Catch the PikeLevel 8

Pike are a promising catch in any weather, but the trick is to choose the right time. Since Pike like to ambush their prey, it’s a good idea to cast your tackle near to the reed thickets by the shore, perform a Straight retrieve and get ready for a powerful strike!

Pike LuresLevel 8

Silicone Shads aren’t the only lures to attract Pike. These predators eagerly bite on a variety of regular Spoons as well. Try experimenting with different lures. And don’t forget about the Shad you received as a reward - using a different color can land you a different kind of fish!

KayakingLevel 8

Time to try navigating on the water! Go ahead, rent a kayak to explore the calm deep waters of Emerald Lake and see it’s marvelous aquatic world from an entirely different perspective. Traveling in a kayak will take up you energy, and the faster you go the more tired you will become. Try to use your energy wisely for a better navigation experience.

Kayak FishingLevel 8

Fishing from the shore is only a part of the much bigger fishing experience! Try to catch fish directly from your kayak. Make sure to anchor, to avoid being dragged by a large fish onto a sunken log or boulder. Keep in mind that boat fishing requires having an Advanced License.

Fish PlacesLevel 8

Pay attention, and when you see fish jumping out of the water as they hunt, you’ll know that’s a great fishing spot. Another way of finding a good spot is to watch for bubbles and disturbances on the water surface coming from bottom-dwelling fish as they move around in the depth below. Follow the hints and try finding such spots by noticing fish activity. Turn this into a habit, and you’ll always end up with a fantastic catch!

Sauger CatcherLevel 8

Use the narrow spoon and try catching a Sauger. These fish like to stay close to the edge of underwater holes and will eagerly bite lure on the fall or a Lift&Drop retrieve. This retrieve imitates behaviour of small fish that usually search for food close to the bottom and are an easy target for predators.

Night FishingLevel 9

Walleye are nocturnal predators, so it’s best to use the special glow-in-the-dark night fishing tackle that you can get from the shop. Equip the night fishing silicone Shad and catch a few Walleye. Look for these fish in deep holes and nearby. Don’t forget that night fishing requires an Advanced License!

Trout GearLevel 5

Once you get to the next Level, more tackle and a new waterway become available. This lovely lake is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery of the Rocky Mountains. Go home to assemble a new tackle setup for Trout, that we are going to catch at the Rocky Lake.

Rocky TroutLevel 5

Idyllic nature of Rocky Lake’s pristine wilderness along with perfect weather conditions and plenty of Trout to catch make this a top fishing destination for many anglers. Trout are predatory fish that like to wait for their prey near rocky shores and large boulders. Try landing a few of these fish using Spinners, some of the best lures for Trout fishing. Effectively adjusting the reel Drag is an important element for effective results, as it helps regulate the load on your tackle.

Before going to a new destination, make sure to read all the information about the waterway, its inhabitants and check the weather forecast for the next few days. Reading about the fish will give you an idea of the lures and baits that work best for catching it. Make sure to have them in your backpack!

Match SetupLevel 5

Time to try some new tackle setups! Let’s see how a Match rod works! Go home to assemble a Match rod setup and then come to Rocky Lake to try catching Trout. Match rods are much more powerful than Telescopic ones, which allows for making long casts with float tackle.

Fishing Among the RocksLevel 5

Mayflies are a tasty treat that young and common Trout find particularly attractive. Make your cast aiming closer to the rocks and be patient when waiting for a bite. Using a match rod should help you make precise casts to the desired spots.

Ready for TrophyLevel 5

Trophy-sized fish usually dwell on the bottom and come out to feed only at a certain time. Catching a Trophy isn’t just luck, but it also requires preparation, like using a large hook and increasing the leader length. And definitely check the bite charts to know the right time for fishing.

Live bait is perfect for catching a Trophy Trout. All you need is to do a cast to the right spot and wait for the bite!

Casting SetupLevel 10

Experienced sport anglers prefer to catch Bass with Casting rods. There rods allow for very accurate casts, while being powerful enough to handle the toughest and biggest predators. Make sure to get one, and grab a casting reel while you’re at it, along with a Bass jig - the perfect lure for your Bass setup.

For the sake of BassLevel 10

Head over to the forest-grown banks of Neherrin River and catch some Bass! Learn to do the Twitching retrieve using a Bass jig and you’ll become a Bass conqueror in no time! Twitching can be tough to master, so don’t get upset if you don’t get it right at once. But once you do get the hang of it, the results will amaze you!

Let's assemble the tackle for bottom fishing on Lone Star Lake. Always remember to upgrade your Keepnet to have more room for fish storage and make your fishing trips more profitable. You can sell your catch only at the end of the day or when you leave the waterway. Keep in mind, that you can switch your Keepnet only in the menu on the Global Map.

To Lesní Víla!Level 3

Lesní Víla is a great place to start fishing with bottom tackle, especially for beginners. Keep in mind that the trip and the stay will both cost you some money, but it’ll be worth it, as there is considerably more fish to catch.

Fishing with a SinkerLevel 3

A sinker fishing rig is great to catch fish near the bottom. Pearl Barley is a good choice for attracting coarse fish. All you need is to cast to the right spot and wait for the bite!

Feed the spotLevel 6

Properly placed Groundbait will greatly increase your chances of attracting fish. Just mix it up, put it into the feeder and make your cast. There are huge shoals of fish in Lesní Víla waters that will require groundbait to hold them in front of you!

Assemble Feeder RigLevel 6

Using the feeder with the right groundbait will attracts a lot of fish. Super effective for catching bottom fish, that's one fine tool for any angler to master!

Catch with Rod StandLevel 6

Use a Rod Stand to fish with more than one rod simultaneously. Using multiple rods at the same time allows you to explore the waterway much faster and catch way more fish!
