@PGE4Me there is an ongoing scam where the caller claims to be from PGE and says power will be shut off w/in 30 if we don't pay right away. the number they use and give as a callback is 669-270-3372. sounds like a Nigerian prince might be the voice on the phone 🙄

Hey @PGE4Me how about making the part of the grid that my house is on NOT the last one restored after a power outage. Frustrating to habitually see my back neighbor with power 14 hours before mine gets turned back on. Saturday was a pain.

@warkolm @essentialenergy This is what @PGE4Me does in our area. We get a notification for outages with approximately the number of households affected. And then periodic updates (e.g. repair crew on scene, estimated time to power being restored, etc.)

NEW: @PGE4Me says tonight nearly all of the 851,000 Bay Area customers that lost power have been restored. Crews found more than 1,600 locations of damaged infrastructure inc more than 800 damage spans of powerlines, more than 160 transformers and 200 poles requiring replacement.
