Synopsis

Summer is in full swing, and so is the love between Sawako Kuronuma and Shouta Kazehaya. From attending summer school together to meeting each other's parents, the two enjoy quality time together while tackling the feelings of self-doubt and emotional strain that come with their newfound love.

Meanwhile, Sawako's close friends, Chizuru Yoshida and Ayane Yano, struggle through their own romantic dilemmas as their past experiences with relationships clash with their present feelings. Full of inner turmoil, the youngsters' desire for intimacy persists through their second year of high school as they weave through the labyrinth of indecision and insecurity that is love.

10 years of waiting for a continuation and personally it was worth every year of waiting. Objectively the creative decisions that were made may not have been the best for the work.

In my heart the season gets a 10, because seeing Sawako and company once again made me really happy. Reliving memories from 10 years ago and seeing where my life was then and how it is now was a good exercise in reflection and nostalgia. As for the story, the fact that Sawako and Kazehaya's relationship has developed on a secondary level is appreciated because it allows the secondary characters to have more screen ...

1 year ago at around this time I wrote my reviews on the previous seasons and even mentioned a far off third season in them, and I never actually expected it, and then it appeared on my Netflix and I was really excited. I didn’t enjoy the original two seasons anything more than a 7 but the show is special to me so I have a soft spot for it. Season 3 of Kimi ni Todoke is basically the reason why I enjoy watching NTR.

Kazehaya having a nothingburger dilemma that causes drama/tension in their relationship, which is then instantly resolved is utterly pointless that it's actually worse than watching filler.

There is no real reason to focus on Kazehaya and Sawako anymore. In fact, this whole season could have easily just diverted full attention to Sawako's two other friends and it would have been much better than whatever unnecessarily long detour of a season this was.

In fact, Kazehaya getting NTR'd by Pin would have been enjoyable to watch while he soyboys in the corner.
